Ensemble Studios

Siapa sih gamer yang tidak mengenal RTS yang begitu tenarnya dari saat saya masih duduk di bangku SMP, the Age of Empire Series. Beberapa rumor sudah mulai mucul ke permukaan dari tahun lalu, bahwa Microsoft Game Studios akan menutup salah satu Game-Dev. Studionya, yaitu ensemble studio. Bulan ini menjadi bulan terakhir Ensemble Studio berproduksi, yaitu dengan menelurkan Halo Wars 2 untuk Xbox 360. A five part flash animation, the main idea is about a controversial love from two different people, the main problem of the relationship was their difference. the main idea wasn’t so bright, unusual but nothing new. Still I love the execution of the idea, especially with the cartoon thingy, the animator is surely talented, he just kept doing small funny things that gonna make you smile most of the time . most of the soundtracks was great too. definitely worth watching.

This is just great, just run into this news here. so what happens actually? the RIAA (Recording Industry of America ) files a lawsuit againts a 19 y/o girl who suffers from pancreatitis and severe depression, has mounting medical bills and whose mother brings in just $8.25 an hour. wait there are more of these good news, the RIAA wins! the girl wasn’t able to make it in to court to defend herself, and as such, the judge entered a default judgment against her for close to $8,000 (well apperaently she is very sick, have I told you that?)

luckily, a local attorney has offered to represent the girl pro-bono and ask a judge to re-open the case. thank God, we still have some sane people!
