Kemarin malam, saat saya mengikuti kebaktian Natal di GPIB Harapan Kasih Bekasi, dalam ketidaksengajaan, pandangan saya menumbuk tulisan besar yang terpampang di bagian atas gereja itu.

Karena begitu besar kasih Allah akan dunia ini, sehingga Ia telah mengaruniakan Anak-Nya yang tunggal, supaya setiap orang yang percaya kepada-Nya tidak binasa, melainkan beroleh hidup yang kekal. (Yoh 3:16)

Lantas saya berujar dalam hati. “Hey…John, Injil favorit saya :D”, dan seperti biasa, ayat Alkitab dari John selalu membuat saya merasa bahwa Christianity, strangely enough, is a very romantic religion (I mean, look at my quote, isn’t that romantic?). Selamat Natal semua.

R* Sucks @ Porting Games

Hari-hari ini penuh kekecewaan karena sudah beberapa hari ini pengen memesan GTA IV, namun gagal jua, satu hal karena supplier game saya sedang mengalami musibah, dan hal lain yang menjadi ganjalan adalah dalam beberapa hari ini (sejak dari peluncuran GTA IV di PC), beredar berita yang kurang nyaman didengar bagi para gamer dengan CPU single core, beritanya GTA IV adalah game yang CPU-bound, artinya GTA IV akan memaksa CPU anda bekerja habis-habisan, dual core aja dah empot2an apalagi gamer dengan CPU single core (seperti saya)!

Yang menarik dari berita-berita mengenai game port-an dari xbox ini adalah, grafisnya yang jauh dari ciamik dan berkesan biasa-biasa saja, namun dengan cerdasnya si Rockstar (R*) membuatnya CPU-bound, sehingga VGA kita cuma menjadi pajangan saja.

DRM won't save you :D

IGN noted that GTA IV will be available on december 2nd, alongside, IGN also mention that GTA IV will have a new DRM system, and will need Windows XP SP3 to run. Here are the DRM and complete requirement.

DRM system GTA 4 (PC):

- Activation via Internet (1x per system, no limits, Fallback for systems without web access)
- Copy protection Securom: The original disc is required for playing (Exept: Download version of GTA 4, for example from Direct 2 Drive)- Requirements for playing (singleplayer): original disc, Securom and GFW Live runs in the background
- Requirements for playing (multiplayer): Active internet connection, Games for Windows Live account, For uploading videos: Rockstar Social Club Account

Just got the chance to watch it, and I don’t get it, people would go to watch this movie for 3-5 time? I had enough just by watching one time, with half of the time trying to stay awake. The movie is a great example of lost focus, the movie would go here then tell some story, then suddenly move all the way across the universe to tell another story. Not to mention the darn movie doesn’t have any darn climax ( prove me wrong, and tell me where the heck is the climax). One more thing, I just don’t get it, why would a drama movie had so much cheesy jokes on them (some of them are indeed good jokes, but I wouldn’t go around making jokes, even a good one, on a drama movie ).It’s just ruining the emotion, do you expect me to cry and laugh within minutes?one good thing is I haven’t read the book, or else this rambling would go on for pages.

Gosh, sorry for the rant, it’s been a though weekend, just gotta pour the anger on something, and Laskar Pelangi just kinda hit me in the wrong spot.

1.Pake Antivirus dan di update : terserah antivirus apa aja asal di update. sedikit saran yang gratis dan bagus AVG dan Avira. “donlot dimana tuh do?”. Well my dear friend, have you ever heard about google?

2.Disable autorun. Ini gampang namun penting banget, virus-virus sekarang, terutama virus local, masuk pake cara ini.*

Yongkruw, pas gw denger brita menggembirakan ini,langsung terloncat2 girang gw. gosipnya sih lebih lebih enteng dari yang 2008, dan gerakannya makin yahud tentunya.

Yesterday I was shooting at the Venezuelan army and then, aftewards trying to save the universe from machine-based civilization devourers. Besok? Balik lagi ke dunia nyata, jiakakakak, liburan ga kerasa sama sekali, Cuma liwat aja.

Btw, cerita sedikit tentang liburan, hmmmmm, let me see…namatin Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Mass Effect dan Mercenaries 2, GRAW 2 belum tamat. three out of four, not a bad achievement lah, walaupun kepala pusing mulu tiap pagi, gara-gara begadang tiap hari.

Sedikit cerita tentang 4670nya, di empat game diatas, dengan semua setting maksimal,FPS berkisar antara 25-30, masih nyaman, kecuali di Mass Effect, FPS sering drop ke dibawah 15 katanya beberapa forum sih memang banyak glitch dan bugnya, tapi ga tau juga deh, mungkin karena bottleneck di procie gw.

So, back to the real life for me.
