Windows 7 RTM is Out, General Availability on October 22nd

Windows 7 RTM is out, well it is literally all over the web since a week ago ;P. the RTM is the Release to Manufacturing phase, and it will be available to public on 22nd of October, it’s called the General Availability phase. The general software life cycle goes like this (CMIIW) pre-alpha > alpha > beta > Release Candidate > RTM > General Availabilty.

How does this win7 doing? to put it in simple words, the win7 is actually the working version of the so-called vista *grin*. I did tried the RC, the 7100 build (while the RTM build is 7600.16385.090713-1255) and from what I’ve tried in win7 RC 7100, well it is vista all rite, only that this one is actually working :D .

If you’re that eager to get your hands on the new win7, the torrent is a great idea, a quick torrent search would get the job done. As for me, I think I’m gonna wait till several days after the GA, after they clean some bugs and then I’ll migrate to win7, while for the RTM, I just don’t have the time to install it. What do you think about win7?
